On the 4th December we celebrate the heart and dedication of volunteers everywhere, especially those who make a difference at WCC! Volunteers are the lifeblood of our community, offering support, compassion, and care to those in need. Their selfless contributions help us provide accessible mental health services and create a safe, inclusive space for all.
Thank you to our incredible volunteers for your time, empathy, and passion. Your commitment makes a profound impact on lives, and we couldn’t do this work without you!
We also invited administrative volunteer Nisha to share her inspiring experience—check out her story in the short blog below!

“I started volunteering at WCC over a year ago helping the team with their admin.
I started not knowing what I wanted to do with my free time as my children are getting older.
I enjoy my time in the office and the team at WCC have always made me feel welcome and treated me as a valuable part of the team even though my duties are limited to administration.
Working at the centre and speaking with the team has inspired me to do more for people who are vulnerable in my own local community. Had I not have worked at WCC I would not have had the confidence nor capability to do this.”
