Social Groups & Activities for displaced peoples
Join Our Community Meetups and Activities
Our meetups group is a place where refugees, asylum-seekers, and migrants seeking companionship can come together to explore, learn, and have fun. Our meetups serve as a launching pad for exciting adventures across London. Whether you’re passionate about art, culture, nature, or simply enjoy trying new things, there’s something for everyone here. Join us as we embark on a journey of discovery and friendship!
Regular Meetups for Refugees and Asylum-Seekers
From cultural excursions to hands-on workshops, our social activities calendar is packed with engaging experiences designed to bring refugees and asylum-seekers together. Previous meetups have included trips to London’s world-class museums and galleries, where we’ve marveled at masterpieces and explored fascinating exhibitions. We’ve also rolled up our sleeves for workshops ranging from beekeeping and theater to pottery and drawing, allowing participants to unleash their creativity and learn new skills.
"It takes my mind off my distress. While I am with the group I met different people, it gives me the chance to chat rather than staying at home and feeling very low"
Meeting Point
Usually, we meet at our office in Waterloo before heading as a group to our activity for the day.

Collaborate or Volunteer
We are always looking to collaborate and hear from people who are interested in being involved either as a group support volunteer or to offer an activity or workshop for the group. For more information please contact Lucian, who runs the social groups.
