In September and October, our refugee and asylum-seeker meetups group enjoyed vibrant activities, including workshops with Wise Ram Theatre focused on nature and creativity, a lively drumming session with Tony B Happy, and a memorable visit to Bees & Refugees in Kent. These experiences fostered community, connection, and artistic expression.
September revitalized the WCC refugee social group with two new weekly activities: the Pottery Club and Gardening Club. Participants create pottery with Mud Gang and cultivate the WCC garden with guidance from Bankside Open Spaces Trust.
